This photo is from our Summer Market in Con Smith Park, where we were on patrol collecting baseline data that will guide our efforts to reduce and ultimately eliminate waste over the next five years.
We were affectionately nicknamed the ‘Bin Police,’ but locals and visitors were really appreciative of the guidance and happy to see real action being taken.
We’ll be doing it all again at the Christmas Market. Throughout the weekend, all waste will be fully segregated, weighed, and recorded.
