THE ECOSHACK: Organic Lentil Verts (Puy Type). The lentil is an edible pulse and is a bushy annual plant of the legume family. These lentil verts are a blue-green mottled colour with a unique peppery flavour. They are high in fibre, minerals and vitamins. Lentil verts are perfect for dahls, other curries and for thickening soup. Cooking Instructions: Rinse and simmer in 1 1/2 parts water to 1 part lentils for approx. 20 minutes. Product packaged in the same area as nuts.
