Traditional earthy beetroot. You can eat it raw, peeled and grated into salads, slaws and bakes, or finely shaved as a ‘carpaccio’— lovely roasted. Wash and trim the leaves to use in salads, stewed or garnish. Store in the refrigerator. All produce from The Patch is pesticide and herbicide-free. Picked fresh on collection day and loosely tied. Wash before use.
