The Local Green Box Cavan is a locally produced, weekly food box that supports small artisan food producers and growers in Co Cavan and border counties. Choose from organically grown fruit and veg, organic meat, cheese, pasture-raised eggs, sourdough bread, preserves, ferments, organic dried foods, vegan hot food and more
Our online shop opens for orders every Sunday at 12noon and closes on Wed at 12 noon.
Weekly collections take place every Friday in the locations below:
Cavan Town – The Conaty Centre (old St. Pats) from 1 – 7 pm.
Ballyconnell – Courthouse (Bawnboy road) from 6:30 – 7 pm.

Yes. The contents of your box is your choice. Our current minimum spend order is €10.
Click here or join our mailing list. You will receive an email every Sunday morning with details of new products etc
You will receive an email confirming receipt of your order.. It will include your name, unique order number and a link to view your order. You will also receive a receipt of purchase from our secure payment gateway, Stripe.
Friday so you get that Friday feeling!!
We currently have two collection points:
- Cavan Town: The Conaty Centre, Cullies, Cavan H12 E5C7 | 4pm – 6pm
- Ballyconnell: Old Courthouse, H14 FV50 | 6.30pm-7pm
- Pauric or Imelda will greet you and prepare your order.
- Please have a green box or something similar to collect your order. You can purchase a green box on our online store. We strongly encourage you to check your order before you leave.
No, but we do find it easier to pack and keep your food undamaged when we use the green box.
